Firstly they’ve handled this merge horribly. The whole system has been down since Friday and they’re still down today as of Monday. The ATMs are down as well ,almost nobody has any access to their bank accounts or hasn’t gotten their new card in the mail. I haven’t been able to tell how much money‘s been in my bank account so I haven’t been able to pay any of my bills. The staff have been extremely rude about the whole situation. Overall this experience was extremely unsatisfactory and I’m going to be switching banks.

First of all “georgias own” is an awful name to change too and is the reason I’ll be getting a different bank soon, but how are you all gonna tell us we need to switch over to the new app and login there to see our account information if we can’t login?? Apparently we have to wait till Monday to be able to login to the new app which would be fine but WHY CANT I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT THROUGH THE ORIGINAL APP???? If your gonna make a new banking app you need to allow people to still have access to THEIR ACCOUNTS!! I mean do better!

I have used United First for over 15 years, and I love the people in the Blackshear branch. The tellers are polite and helpful, and I specifically ask for Abby if I have any loan needs. She's helped us with a couple of car loans and a house loan, and she's great to work with! They have excellent rates, fast service, and free checking/savings accounts. My son loves that they put money into his savings account for the A's on his report card! I don't particularly like the new online banking system - it's slower and doesn't have all the features of the last system - but I guess if it's more secure, it's better in the long run. (And of course, this branch didn't make the decision on the new system, so can't blame them for it!) Overall, I would highly recommend the Blackshear branch of United First Federal Credit Union.

Awful experience! I dealt with a lady named Abby Howell, she was not helpful at all! She acted like I was beneath her and that I was bothering her! She had the worst personality, I have never met this lady until I tried getting my truck refinanced. Went in on a Monday didn't hear back until after I left a message on her machine. I have good credit and I can show how much I make each week. I tried explaining my taxes to her lol she doesn't need anyone explaining anything to her because she is a know it all! She was hateful from the beginning! That's okay I am financed with a great company called Wells Fargo, I also don't have a bad interest rate 5.1, so it's their lost not mine, I pay my bills on time! Oh I should of known before I took that hard hit against my credit score, they were several things I saw and heard that was not pleasing to my ears. First off a man was being charged 30 over draft fee constantly. Then a man was getting a late fee charge and it was debited from his account on time, he was not happy and I don't blame him! This bank is terrible! I have had people tell me this and to go to the one in Waycross, but I guess I will start listening to others! This Bank will never get my business!

All of my family members are members of United 1st Federal Credit Union! The staff are genuinely happy to help any way they can. Great loan interest rates! All the services offered by the banks and outstanding MEMBER SERVICE!!!

They are crooked charge over draft even if you don't. They put my money in the wrong account then charged me for thier mistake. Kept saying I was over drafting and charging me when I just deposited 700.00 in that bank. They took me for more than 200.00 . Please be watching your bank account close.
