If your enjoy chilling in a banks drive thru for 30 mins on a Tuesday just to cash a check and if it makes your insides warm to be run thru an NCIC background check while you fall asleep looking at a blank tv monitor where robots will appear and scan your integrity level bc your at a bank, cashing a check, then this is your heaven on earth......................

I have banked with suntrust for over 25 years. If you only have to use their services online then it is great, however that's where the greatness ends. If you have to do any in person transactions or make any Important changes to your account it takes forever at the Douglas, Georgia branch. This morning broke my patience with them. I waited in the drive-through line for over 15 minutes and nothing was happening. There were 6 cars in the 3 drive-through lanes and during the 15 minutes I only saw the vacuum canister drop one time. I am seriously considering changing banks after being a loyal customer. My wife works at a local bank in town and it is night and day in terms of customer service and speed. It is sad when I can make a deposit using my wife's bank account and then transfer the money to my suntrust account faster than going to my suntrust bank to make a deposit. If management doesn't do something quick I am going to be changing the bank I have used for decades. If you tend to make in person deposits I highly recommend you do not use suntrust. If all of your transactions are through direct deposit and you rarely have to go to the bank then suntrust may work for you.

I've banked with this SunTrust branch in Douglas for 30+ years. They have competitive rates, free check with direct deposit, and very good promotional rates on CDs and other services. The staff is always friendly and courteous. As always, you should shop around for loans and other banking services, but I've repeatedly found SunTrust to be competitive and willing to help whenever I have questions. The online banking features are easy and intuitive to use.

I’m about to go to a different bank! I have to wait 1-2 hours everytime I make a deposit because they are just so slow and then I finally get my check for my income tax money and they put a hold on it as soon as I deposit it! I needed that money instantly considering I have bills that are behind due to covid. This is ridiculous!

My husband and I opened an account when we got married. Mr. Carswell was excellent. The banking staff has gone above and beyond to ensure our experiences have been wonderful. Very pleased. This is my lifetime bank.
