Local Finance of GA, Fort Valley, GA

When I first start dealing with this company I was all good and the people understood things, but now the people there now are nasty and their attitudes are to they hound you like a dog and tell lies then the so called manager hung up the phone in my face. Then so called said that they don’t have a grace period how is it that other companies have a grace period and this one doesn’t. Well I hope no one ever goes there and they never get any business with their rude nasty selves no wonder they have new staff every other month.

When I first opened my account with these folks the male manager and staff were great. They made a mistake with the contract on when the payments were due. They worked with me and we decided to make the payment every 4th Wednesday of each month with no late fee. I called in 2 months ago to make my last payment and everyone was NEW! The lady who answered the phone was going to charge me a late fee and I explained what was going on. She said she had to. I asked to speak to her manager. The manager got on the phone and, I tried to tell her what was going on. She immediately got real nasty and said I signed the contract so I had to pay the late fee . I told her no I would not. She then started cursing at me and stating they would sue and collect the items I put down as collateral. I told her good luck and hung up. DO NOT DDO BUSINESS with this company. They are rude, nasty and unprofessional. They are not worth a star but I had to put one to post.

I wouldn't recommend doing business with this company. Once you have made a few payments they will hound you to renew your loan. If its around tax time you'll get almost daily texts to let them do your taxes. When you get fed up with their harassment and pay your loan off early, it just gets worse. I received multiple pressing calls to come take another loan out, letters in the mail, and more texts. This is the most aggravating company I've ever done business with. During my first loan I never missed a payment and was not late. My 2nd one was a different setup and I was never provided with a due date, and they just happened to give me a courtesy call the night before it was due. Unreal. They never mailed me a packet like they were supposed to or anything. I made the payment a few days late, but paid the whole stupid loan off in full just to be done with this place. I requested that they DO NOT CONTACT ME again as I have NO INTEREST in doing business with them again, and a week later I get a letter in the mail offering me a loan, and $ for referrals. Here's a referral, don't go to Local Finance- Go to World Finance in Perry. They are GREAT! I've carried and renewed my loan with them for 2 years and NEVER had any issues. I will never deal with Local Finance again.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. They say they will call you back once you’ve done an application over the phone but never return the call. Very unprofessional!!!!

Very nasty attitudes towards their customers. Local branch managers are rude and very disrespectful and aggressive. Tiffany threatened to have me legal action because I was going through tough times and couldn’t pay 86 dollars. Don’t use them!
