I had been with this company borrowing small loans and making timely payments for years. I took out an equity loan on my home in which I lived in for over four decades to make some home improvements and pay off a small loan with them. I never asked for help going through COVID layoffs with my job and made my payments. I sold my home and went through the process paying off any outstanding loans connected with my home. The attorneys office handling the closing delivered a check to 1st Franklin in person. After looking into my credit reports, 1st Franklin put a negative derogatory on my credit report for being late on last payment. This will have a negative impact on my credit going forward. I addressed them about it after paying all my payments on time and they left it at that. Very dishonest people!

The employees at this office are highly professional and still has a very friendly and helpful atmosphere quality about them. I would recommend everyone to visit their office for your financial needs. I would rate them a 10 star if it was available.

I was approved for the loan I wanted but they were not upfront about the stipulations of the loan and only told me they needed calateral for the amount of loan I was requesting only AFTER my credit was pulled even though I disclosed the amount I was trying to get (3k) before she took all my information down. I don't own outside of the home calateral (boats, ATV, car trailers, riding low mowers etc) I own plenty of inside the home things but this was not good enough to secure the loan and now I've taken a hit to my credit for no reason!!
