I don't usually write reviews. But the customer service here is terrible. They do not ask the right questions they are very rude to you when you ask questions and when you talk to them in person you would think they would be a little bit different but they're not. I usually take my business elsewhere but I thought I'd take a moment and explain to you don't go here if you don't have to. The thing is is if you don't live or work in the area you can't get help even if your place of appointment is here. I bought a $50.00 (fifty dollars) money gram money order. Submitted it to my property company. They mailed it back with a note stating that they don't accept money orders. I called the Hometown Cash Advance regarding cashing it and explained the situation in detail. I repeated the details and was told "AS LONG AS YOU HAVEN'T SIGNED THE BACK we can cash it for you with a current/valid state Drivers License or ID" (which I have). However when I got there the woman I spoke to on the phone would not cash it. I am 100% certain it is because I am an African American or Black Man that suddenly caused the rules to change the minute I walked in the door.
