The employees are always friendly and kind. My parents and myself have had accounts and worked with Grinnell Lincoln Savings Bank for years. All the employees are helpful and patient. It is very appreciated. It's hard to find good customer service these days.

My paypal account is set up to draw from LSB for my automatic charges, because they used to decline the charge if I did not have enough balance, versus letting them go through. This last week, LSB let three charges go through my account that doesn't even total $35.00 so they could charge me 3 different times an overdraft fee of $35.00, totaling $110.00 fee for less than $35.00 worth of charges. Having spoken to the manager Tracy before, when upset and telling her I would be looking at different banks, she thanked me for my time, and told me to call back if I had any questions. This is beyond highway robbery, and I would not recommend this particular branch because of Tracy to anyone. The only reason I stayed last time was an excellent experience with their clerk Sugehy. Hopefully she can find a better bank for which to work.

I have been banking with Lincoln Savings Bank here in Grinnell for over ten years. I took out the farm loan with them, paid it off and carry 3 accounts with them. The balance has always been well in the positive. Today they refused to cash a personal check made out to me because they say I have no personal account with them. It has never been an issue before. I do have one one account with my name on it but evidently that isn't good enough. My business and farm funds will be moving shortly.

Even if you get the money in your account the same day they still charge overdraft fees I will be working towards finding a new bank I hear positive things about great western bank
