FreedomBank, Monona, IA

This bank has went out of their way to help me as a customer. The staff is great, always being helpful and flexible. They always notarized documents free of charge and when there was a technical difficulty with my work direct deposit, the staff made sure there were no problems regarding overdrafts until the deposit was corrected. You can't do any better than banking with Freedom Bank in Monona, but always had the same responsiveness when in Elkader or Postville using the Freedom Banks.

I've dealt with a lot of banks, large and small during my career. Freedom bank is the perfect small town bank! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and they really aim to please. I very much recommend them!

Literally the worst bank rude staff. They shut your card off while you try to pay bills and when you call them and explain "oh that's too bad you're gonna have to wait"
