Community 1st Credit Union, Pella, IA

This is a great place to bank! I was very unhappy with Marion County State Bank so I checked out 1st Community. I was warmly welcomed when I opened the account. A year later they worked with me and my broken credit when I needed to buy a used car. I was able to walk into the dealership with the advantage of having a price point and financing already in place. Best thing I've ever done for the financial part of my life.

The 2 staff members I had contact with were delightful! They took care of me in a very professional manner & was done with everything very quickly, 3x faster than I expected! I highly recommend Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA! Job well done!

The least pleasurable banking experience I’ve ever had, and one of the biggest sources of stress in my life. I should NOT have to pay a three dollar fee every time I want to access MY MONEY. Wish my parents would have chosen a different bank for me when I was younger. This one isn’t worth my or anyone else’s time.

While I am no longer a member, due to distance, I want to thank the staff at C1st for always being a pleasure to work with! Member service is clearly a priority here and they always made everything so easy for me as a member. Great business!

I have been banking at Community 1st since it opened. I have several personal accounts, loans, and my business account here. Nothing but good things to say. A lot goes into owning a business account with many deposits and withdrawals every week. The tellers are awesome at making it easier on me to keep the books nice and tidy!! Loan officers are very helpful. I am thankful for this small town bank!!!

How is it appropriate or even AN OPTION to tell one customer that another customer IS OVERDRAWN therefore their check cannot be cashed? Oh yeah, IT'S NOT! The appropriate response is "We cannot cash the check at this time".. How unbelievably unprofessional; I WILL be taking this matter further..

If you want a bank who does not check their money through a money machine before handing it out at the drive through go to Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA. If you want a bank who does not have good enough cameras to see the money they are handing out go to Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA. Lastly but not least if you want a bank who does not ask for your ID to double check it’s actually you before giving you money from your bank account go to Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA. This bank is a joke. I have banked with Community 1st Credit Union for three years. You would never expect to get a counterfeit bill from your bank you trust but if you’re going to Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA make sure you double check your bills before you leave because you can not trust them and they will not fix their tellers mistakes. Also to note I know another individual who banked with Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA and a teller fought with her regarding the terms and policies of their certificate of deposits only to have their investment manager call a couple of days later and admit their teller incorrectly understood and stated their terms and policies of their certificate of deposits. Obviously the tellers at Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA do not know what they are doing and Community 1st Credit Union in Pella, IA does not care.
