EZ Money Check Cashing, Sioux City, IA

** I was in to cash a check for just $8.57 and I was charged $2.14 to cash a check that was only $8.57. On their website I think it said they charge 3% to cash checks but in my case they charged 23% on it! Thats horrible!!! It was my first time in the store & I had a choice of going to EZ Money Check cashing or Check N Go. I will be going to Check N Go next time if I have a check to cash. Also, the lady in the store was rude and kurt, and they they make you fill out lots of forms to cash a little check PLUS they take your picture. It felt like I was being booked into prison and they were not very accomadting or friendly. It will be Check N Go next time. Check N GO doesnt make you fill out all these formd just to cash a check & they are much more friendly & I'm sure they wouldnt have charged me 23% to cash a check for $8.57. At 23% that means they would have taken out $230.00 for a $1000.00 check! Thats just hideous and awful! They take advantage of you there & they are rude on top of it!

This place is there when your short, bad days, or if you just want to get You're hard earned money faster great service! And a excellent staff!

Called to get some information on making payments and some girl named Ariel was super rude and snooty on the phone. Their service has gone way way way downhill. They need new staff. Do not recommend.
