Deplorable loan servicer. Listen to the other reviews. My loans were transferred over to Aspire, which have been on auto pay for the last several years. 60 days after Aspire takes over, I get reported to the major credit bureaus for a 60 day missed payment. Aspire made little to no effort to notify me that my loans were not in good standing (I’ve never missed a payment), none of their correspondence indicated I was in a late status. Filed a dispute, and they told me to pound sand. If you have a choice, find a different loan provider. I know I’ll be looking into switching…

For a few years now I have been trying to get some tangible solution to this loan. the school I went to closed down and didnt completed because of such. the only way to get rid of this loan is dying or paying. Both options would not be possible. Coordinator Kelly ext. 7167 said that there is nothing to be done.

This company is terrible. It saddens me my Iowa alternative loans were sold to these people. I've tried to get overpayments applied to my principal balances but they don't. I've tried to pay accrued interest when they decided to accrue my loan payments when I started my masters program which I did Not Request. They're nothing but theives to keep you paying.

My loans were sold to this bank, and for the last three months I have had problems every time trying to make a payment. The website tells me I don't have an account, which doesn't make sense since I have been making payments. It's also frustrating because with every other student loan bank I've worked with, I'm able to make my payments on time, and with this bank I'm not able to. Also, they took so long to send out information to me and my partner (who's loans were also sold), that they were past due. If I could I would give zero stars. Just another bank taking money from people who are just trying to get out of the student loan hell.

Quite literally the worst loan servicing company. I didn’t even pick these people, but they reported my loans 78 days past due and got my family denied on a rental. Not ince did they mention I was overdue in voicemail, or any type of letter or email. So yeah, watch out because they’ll report and ruin your credit before you know whats going on. Once again, I had no choice in my loans being moved to these people and they did not reach out like they are supposed to. Its places like this that are causing American families finacial ruin, plain and simple

Seems funny that another company is dealing with my student loans and the amount I owe is nothing compared to what this company is saying. How can two separate places be handling my loans? Don't know if I am coming or going or who I am supposed to be paying so have decided to contact Department of Education to see who really is the one I should be dealing with. I never agreed to have this company handle my loans and I am going to try and get them to where the other company is the one handling it. Have tried to contact people to say I am not working due to needing foot surgery and cant get anyone to respond. POORLY handles everything. I do not owe TRIPLE what I borrowed so I fully intend to seek legal advice as well. RIP OFF! I have no problems paying for what I borrowed for school because its my responsibility but I will not pay three times what I borrowed. NO WAY!

I am a parent co-signer on a loan designed for parents to help with interest payments while my child is in school. Aspire does not allow parents to use the mobile app. In 2023 this is unbelievable and a sign of poor customer service and management and use of technology within the company. A loan servicer should do everything they can to make it as easy as possible for borrowers to manage their loan payments.

I agree with all the other reviews. Some of the people have been nice but the policies the company holds are ridiculous. I have made multiple requests to make partial payments and have been denied each time saying they cannot accept partials. As of today my credit score dropped over 30 points for missed payments. I understand the consequences of not paying but refusing to accept what I can pay seems counter productive.
