Some what friendly service but they checked credit several times and told me I can get my original loan, then they said I couldn't and got a much smaller loan with super high interest, and didn't get the full loan which they didn't explain to me again. Horrible experience, Oppurtune much much better and easier

Customer service is lacking here, plus, in my opinion, do not get the insurance in case you lose your job to cover the loan. The amount of hoops you have to jump through is not feasible or customer friendly. At least I was able to cancel it. They do serve a purpose overall but, do your homework 1st and look at other loan options and companies.

Don't do business with them they charge extrodinary rates. Not only that, I changed insurance companies, notified them and sent them a copy of the policy. None the less, they placed involuntary insurance on my vehicle and notified the state. Incomprehensible incompetence.

They are always there for me when needed. Quick and easy to get a loan.

It was going great until i felt accused of lying and horrible customer service for their mistake. I got charged twice for the same month and was put negative and called them to let them know since Jennifer was supposed to cancel my payment. They said to wait until it was done pending which okay fine I did wait and showed them proof and once I showed them proof it was fine, they were about to give me a refund. Once that got approved, then they needed proof I made 2 payments in the same month which is ridiculous because you can clearly see in my past payment it was charged twice literally days apart from each other and Jennifer recorded the call to make payment earlier. I don’t like that I was being being accused of lying for their mistake. So annoying now that every month I call I have to make sure they do their Job correctly so I’m not being accused again. Never felt mistreated by them until today when Doris was handling this situation. Unless you get a small loan don’t get it through here or make sure they do their job correctly so you’re not in the same situation as me . I never felt so humiliated until today. Now I have to wait another day to hear back about receiving a refund since apparently it needs to be approved by the underwriter even though it was already approved since they messed up . They made me negative in my account and instead of refunding me when you clearly see you charged me twice I have to wait more days and be charged fees and show proof when they see on their behalf. This is not the customer service they seemed when I applied for the loan. I had a loan with them in the past as well and it was not like this .

I needed a personal loan for an urgent matter and the process with OneMain Financial was quick and efficient. Funds were deposited by the next morning. Simple online portal to review your loan and make payments. Would recommend to others.

I applied to different banks, but was rejected everywhere. With OneMain I got my personal loan when I was in desperate need. When applying, everything went flawlessly. Even though I was having lunch in the car when received a phone call and I was limited in time, the representative helped me briefly go through the details of the contract using my mobile phone and screen sharing. In a few hours funds have been deposited in my checking account. We live in an amazing time.
