State Bank of Whittington, Benton, IL

My grandmother is older and gets help from the rest of the family and she can't use her own money to pay her bills or get food etc.. she can't walk and she has been taking up there so she can get a debit card she signed for it and everything and was supposed to get one they lied they didn't send one and made the decision on there own personal opinion the family even banks there as well they been rude and inconsiderate treating people like criminals and it's sad this bank is no good do not bank here. I use u.s. bank never had a problem great service nice people and very helpful.

Support local.... no thanks. I had 2 loans through them years ago... Paid off on time and one early. They never reported to any credit agency so I had to get additional loans at high interest to establish credit... I also had to co-sign for a loan for family... If you can't get a call back... Just wait for 1 day late.... They will harass you. I won't EVER give them my business again.

No option for mobile deposit. Not a bank for customers who travel frequently.

unfortunately it won’t let me give half a star and that’s all there about worth they will still your money and not let u use it and randomly shut off ur debit card without warning i wouldn’t recommend this bank to someone i hate because that’s just going to low and the customer service is horrible no help what so ever
