Just closed on my 2nd house purchased with DesaRae as my loan officer. Didn't even search for the best rates this time around and went straight to her. She's knowledgeable, personable, professional, patient, and persistent. Both times I have worked with her have been nothing short of awesome! She's proof that dealing with the bank doesn't have to be the stressful part of purchasing a home.

I worked with DesaRae Ludolph, she is great at answering questions in a timely manner and explaining every detail. Whatever issue comes up in the home buying process, she works with you as best as she can to resolve the issue. She is informative and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed working with her.

When we first contacted First State Mortgage our lender was very positive and helpful, after time went on and more questions were needing answered he demanded we not contact him on the phone rather than through email. He only wanted our loan and then completely left his co workers to do any communication. And then when it came time to close it came down to the very last minute to get the paperwork. Do NOT use Josh Jackson and we will never use first state mortgage again because of this.

We couldn’t ask for a better Loan Officer than Grant. He’s very knowledgeable and extremely nice. There were times we thought we were annoying him beyond words, but never did he say he was, and never did he ignore our calls or texts. He also always provided us with many options and advised what he thought was best. I highly recommend Grant and if we ever buy another house and he’s still an officer, he will be our guy!
