First Community Bank of Galena, Galena, IL

Bf and I tried getting a loan through here, as he already has his mortgage through here and his banker for his business. His banker, Zeke has been awesome and said we were preapproved as long as we had a down payment. However with him being out on vacation and his coworkers taking over it has been problematic. They said they’d let us know by the end of Friday, here we are on tuesdy afternoon and the bank won’t return our calls. Oh yeah and according to them, they have meetings “every morning” but ironically the receptionist doesn’t mention that when transferring calls, and zeke knows how to at least answer his calls, even in the morning, or at least return calls by 2pm. These other guys just drag their feet, or don’t even know what they are doing.(giving you incorrect feedback without all the information and misguiding you.)

Over 56 years we have lived in 8 different Communities. This is the Best Bank. Excellent Service, Friendly, Understanding, and Caring for the customers needs. All Deparents apply.
