Woodforest National Bank, Harrisburg, IL

Do NOT use this bank. Banked with them for 6 years and over those 6 years ive had to deal with them closing my account without my permission SIX times. Previous manager was always super nice and willing to help get it figured out but now that he’s retired they expect me to pay $25 to reopen an account I didn’t voluntarily close. This bank has scammed me out of almost $150 in fees of reopening my bank account. Seriously wouldn’t suggest using this bank as I will never use it again.

Everyone of the tellers are so helpful and friendly!! They remember familiar faces and are so fast at getting you taken care of! :) so glad I bank with them!

Great bank! Everyone seems nice and I always get great service. I do wish they had earlier hours.

Terrible service called an hour before closing no phone call in return

Standing in line at this bank and looking at 3 people behind the counter here for the manager to tell us the other girl (who’s already working with another customer) will be with us shortly. There was a man and the manager standing there. The manager wasn’t doing anything besides waiting for time to close, which was in 10 minutes. So we waited in line and manager is striking up conversation about the mail and federal law and so on with the customer being helped. My husband finally said this is why he is switching banks loud enough for the man to hear so the manager came over to us after 15 minutes of waiting in line to ask what we needed and got our transaction done in like 2 minutes. If she wouldn’t have tried to push us off on someone who was already busy, we could’ve been in and out. It was just us and the other lady in there and 3 of them. The manager they used to have was always so friendly and helpful. We want her back!

Wow Wood Forest you got 3.4 Stars! I can see why.. especially when someone drives 45 miles to the bank and can't even cash a check from a business! Even though we've had the account I don't know how long and we haven't had any problems before if we didn't have the exact amount in there to cover the check I mean come on I have seen Banks call the bank on the check and verify that it is not a fraudulent account and that the funds are there! Maybe you all are just too lazy and that's why you got 3.4 Stars!

Heather an the other girl that was working today 7-28-23 have know clue what they can an can not do. I will not bank at this location again. An if I could give no stars I would.
