Bank of Hillsboro, Hillsboro, IL

My husband and I have banked at Hillsboro bank for years. We always have great experiences from each dept. We appreciate that the bigger they get they continue to think small and focus on the customers. Stephanie has always been helpful anytime we need it and I appreciate her willingness and quick response to always help us out!

I just recently opened an account here. This bank is very quick to respond, very professional, and helpful. I really like the Online line banking options and the ease of using the online banking. I have always had exceptional customer service and feel they explain things at a level that is easy to understand. I would completely recommend them for all of your banking needs.

We have been doing business with Bank of Hillsboro (formerly National Bank) for over 50 years. All services have been handled with our best interest being a priority. Bank of Hillsboro has been my bank for over 50 years. I like the options of walk in or drive through. I am always greeted courteously by the staff. The staff has always fixed whatever problems I have had ( which have been very few) and were knowledgeable about whatever questions I have had. This has become the bank for my entire family!

We appreciate the full service that Bank of Hillsboro offers. No matter which branch we choose to go to, we have every confidence that all of our needs will be met. I also like that they take an interest in the community by getting involved in a variety of projects that benefit everyone.

A lot of their policies are good because they are up to date with the times, like being able to print debit cards out as soon as you open an account, and the ability to turn off overdraft on your debit cards which prevents over draft all together. But if you're a hard working individual and you think the "you're local, we're local" hits home, well don't bother unless you're a farmer with 2500 acres of farm land because you won't be getting any loans here, additionally if you're a young person, get ready to get scoffed all the time which feels like age discrimination. Wish I could've stayed because I loved certain policies, but the bad out weighed the good!

They put a $300 limit on your debit card. Like you're a little kid getting money from your mommy's account then you have to get management permission to up your debit card money per day. Totally bogus. No more business with you!!!
