Mariner Finance, Joliet, IL

I went online to apply for a loan on Tuesday evening. So im thinking someone will contact me the next day. That was not the case. I end up calling Wednesday afternoon. The lady I talk to had a husky voice, I think she said her name was Deana. I'm not able to write a long review so to shorten it up. Nobody got back to me. If you in a tight situation you need cash I cannot be waiting around for these people. I end up having to call Wed, Thursday and on Friday I just called & told them just withdrawal my application. Their a joke!. If you all are looking for a loan. I suggest your try HEIGHT FINANCE in Joliet, IL they can get you approve in 10 mins. I went in and was greeted by the manager Cheri, she approve me in less then 10 mins. DO NOT TRY AND APPLY WITH MARINER. They will have you hanging

8 phone calls later. Does not return calls as promised. Took OVER 24 hrs to get a somewhat of a response. Had to call the Essington road office 8 times in a 24hr period. Tina promised 2 times in 1 hour period to return our call, never happened. Had we considered to take this loan it would have taken a total of 5 days to complete. Unacceptable. Do not advertise that you are a quick loan place. This is absolutely a scam to get you in. Avoid like the plaque if you're in a hurry.

This was my second loan I have taken out with Mariner Finance. Their employees are so wonderful and nice giving superior service. Each person I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgeable about their loans available. They are very concerned about my safety and Covid and were able to do everything over the phone. Kudos to the Joliet Illinois office!

The women at this branch no what customer service is all about. Dina was wonderful to deal with one on one and her whole team was extremely professional and welcoming. I'd recommend Mariner to anyone looking for a loan.
