Catherine at the bourbonnais office is amazing! She helped us set up our personal accounts and get everything set up with the app during covid over the phone and email. Recently, we were able to go in and get a business account set up. She walked us thru every step and made sure we understood. All do the staff at the branch is wonderful every time I’ve had to come in.

This is a great bank with amazing people. However, they have no way to help a customer that loses or has their debit card stolen. You can cancel your account and then wait TWO WEEKS for a new card... PNC and other banks are able to get them to you way faster. Super inconvenient and makes me want to switch to a national bank.

peoples bank is the nicest bank i have ever used. they are always friendly and respectful im on social security so once i pay my bills my account has many times been down to $1 or so and yet they always treat me with respect and no judgement. they dont seem to care how much money you have they are always kind and respectful. other banks have acted like they would prefer i dont do business with them but not people's bank. even though i live waaay below the poverty line they always treat me with respect. having a disability and having to struggle just for the basics, it means so much to me that they treat me like a human being with respect and kindness. i always leave there feeling like i matter to someone
