Prairie Community Bank, Marengo, IL

My sister banks here and is constantly telling me about how poorly the staff treats her whenever she stops in to do anything. I had an account here long ago, it was nothing special. They were nice sure, lots of banks have nice people working there. I would not recommend them. Go with a bank who treats all customers nicely, and one that has a solid website and app to manage your accounts. If I remember correctly their website was archaic.

Can I just say how much I love Prairie Community Bank. On Wednesday evening someone tried to make a prior authorization on my debit card and the fraud department caught it right away. Within 15 to 20 minutes they called me and when I said it wasn't me they deactivated me card and refused payment. The name of the place was Emily Skye Fit. I am so grateful that they are on top of things like this!!!

Great Bank filled with local people that care about their customers and the community. There is always a smiling face to greet you and to help. They offer all the banking options you could need personally or for your business.

The most unhelpful people work here. They have no idea what they are doing. They can count change but that's about it.
