SIU Credit Union apparently likes to steal money from little kids. My sister is underage. My sister and i went up to the bank to start her first checking account. Set it up to where she could not over withdrawal. Talk to a representative of the bank today. They inform me that the bank's computer automatically switches due to regular deposits to allow overdrawals. That sounds like stealing.. and that's a real shame that the bank has to resort to that.

They work with you on auto loan payments and I like some of the workers but I am rating it two stars because they messed up my paycheck. They deposited some checks twice and in turn made me think my check was more than it actually was. I paid more bills than I currently had the funds for and in turn leaves me short of money and means I have to figure out my bills again for an hour when I just did yesterday. They oughta give some compensation for THEIR error.

Tired of waiting 20+ minutes in drive thru to deposit 1-3 checks. Carbondale locations are both fast and reliable, but Marion continues to lack.

Stay far away from this place . The employees have no idea what they’re doing , when you ask bookkeeping a question they can’t answer ; I don’t write many checks , but they talked me into overdraft protection ; this bank is very shady

If I could give zero stars I would. Dont trust what they say when they say they are gonna do a "soft credit run" and it will be off in a few days. There is no such thing. 3 months later and still yet to get a call back or even the guy take my call. Not to mention the slap in the face loan they wanted to give us. My fiance will be joining my bank. I highly recomend any other bank then this one.

Always friendly and helpful! We use SIU Credit Union because of the shared branching program. It’s a great benefit to have this with our bank and family in Indiana.

I usually go to the Harrisburg branch but every now and then I’ll when I’m passing through I’ll go to the Marion branch. I have been here several times and never had any issue until the last few times I’ve went. I pulled in the stall furthest away from the building and the teller whose name is Kimberly (according to my receipt) always says she can’t see me and tells me to scoot in the camera so she can make sure it’s me, and kept saying she couldn’t see me so I said just send me my I.D back and I’ll go to the Harrisburg branch then she went off camera and came back asking if I wanted my money back any certain way, yet she couldn’t tell if it was me smh. she said that lane is hard to see in but I only have this issue when it’s her and this last time I pulled back around to watch and see if she would ask the next vehicle to step up to the camera or come around to the window and of course they didn’t so if there is an issue with that lane I really hope something gets done about this or her.
