First Mid Bank & Trust, Marshall, IL

I went to close my accounts at First Mid Bank and the teller told my wife and I we are grandfathered in the bank wouldn't charge a fee if I didn't have $2500 in my account. I closed all of them anyway. Now over a year later I get a letter in the mail telling me I have overdrawn .98 cent if I dont pay I will be turned in to a collection and charged $11 dollars. I would not recommend doing business at First Mid Bank . If the teller didn't close are accounts then we should be grandfathered in and still have money in are accounts because we are grandfathered in.

I've banked at this bank since I was a teenager. Always very helpful and the staff is so pleasant. I've been through several changes with them and we always get through the bumps! Great Bank!!!!

We switched to First Mid over a year ago. The experience has been great. The staff is always helpful

Can I give negative stars? Horrible bank should’ve never left Bank of America

Bank hours says open till 4:30 clearly that is incorrect it's 4:15 now doors locked
