Best banking experience, they are always friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Love this bank, I would never go back to chase or any other bank. Small town banking where everyone knows your name and customer service that handles everything to the tee. Plus their mobile app is great.

Had been with The State Bank Group since a child, but switching was way over due. They're always nice to work with personally but don't expect any clemency. I admittedly confused my account balance (my fault) and after 6 bounced payment drafts in a row for various things like utilities, credit cards, internet, etc... I was getting whacked with over $200 in over draft fees before I could figure out what was even going on. They're still using snail mail to alert you about these things so forget catching it quickly. I called to ask if ANY of these over draft fees could be lifted, but nope. Nothing. A colleague at my work said if they don't take the charges off for your first offense doing this in a while then "you need to get a new bank". He was right. This is the 21st century and there are lots of banks to choose from. I don't trust a bank that in't at least reasonable with regard to these kinds of things. I was also locked out of my mobile banking when out of State and in a pinch which was scary, because they changed something with the online portal without reaching out to anyone about it, but that's another story.
