I have personally used Jim approx. 5 years ago when I bought my first house - he was very knowledgeable and helpful - but this review is about a second experience I had with Jim. My best friend was buying his dream home, and his realtor had referred him to her preferred lender. That lender started out fine ... sent the pre-approval for $9000 over what the house ended up costing with 10% down payment... he received all the documents ...etc... worked on it for 3 weeks ... but then 5 days before closing everything fell apart, and all of a sudden that lender could not do ANYTHING at all unless my friend put 30% down??? My friend is an entrepreneur with his own successful company, which all of a sudden in the last hours was not an "issue" with the lender. My friend was crushed, and on the verge of loosing his house. I got a hold of Jim, who dropped everything he had to help. In just 2 days, Jim had everything lined up, and we met the original closing date with 10% down like planned. The realtor, the lawyer, and the people at the mortgage closing office where all in complete awe, and had NEVER seen anyone work that fast in this market! So ... if you need a mortgage broker - look no further - Jim is the best!
