In this big world of impersonal banking....BOR is the opposite. Very friendly and dependable people. Matt Mayer and Matt Greist have been so helpful to me and managing some very important financial dealings. Theyre very responsive and efficient and I know when I need something, they'll take care of it promptly and accurately. So grateful to the entire staff at BOR for always being so easy to work with! I have had an account at this bank for less than a year. Usually I have very positive experiences with easy transactions and helpful customer service.
I went to their drive-thru shortly before closing. I had a cash deposit, some bills, some change. I had carefully double-counted the money before leaving my house. I filled out the form, sent the money up. Several minutes later, the woman working in the window (there was also a man working at the window at this time but I was the only customer) told me there was a noticeable difference in the amount from what I had counted. She then told me they had to hand-count because their machine to weigh the money was turned off for the day. I told her it was not correct and to send me back the money, that I would return the next business day and deposit it in the lobby. I was disappointed that they just seemed lazy and not wanting to really help me since I was the last customer. I don't understand why their equipment was turned off for the day, either. If you're open and have a customer, any equipment you may need to use during a transaction should NOT be turned off. If you're done for the day, close your window, THEN turn off your equipment and proceed with the end of shift tasks.
I went home afterward and counted the money twice more and still came up with the same consistent total I had the first time. I counted it 4 times. Very disappointed.
