My husband and I have spent years and thousands of dollars trying to purchase a coop in NYC to no avail. We finally found something that will work and that we like and I find out from our attorney we needed to provide the escrow deposit TODAY - today or the deal was dead.
After some bad Intel from a couple of member services reps, I finally got to speak Julie. Two hours before close of business on the East Coast, Julie was able to do what everyone else told me would take a few days. No sir! Not on Julie's watch. She knew we were in jeopardy of losing the sale and permanent home for our kids and age wouldn't suffer that!
She was truly a blessing to my family today!

Our local credit union merged with CU1 over the holiday weekend. I called on Tuesday and after holding for 1 1/2 hours to talk to a person, the rep basically took a message to pass along to a "specialist". I was told the specialist should return the call within 2-3 business days - not hours...2-3 DAYS. Called on Tuesday and NO return call by Friday. RIDICULOUS & NOT ACCEPTABLE!! You guys were good about sending out pamphlets and email reminders that the merger was going to occur and how to gain digital access...but no obvious planning for how to handle the large volume of issues that apparently are occurring. This is a mess!

Been with Credit union 1 for 10+ years. Outstanding customer service. Erika Pyle is wonderful to work with and very helpful. Have yet to talk or work with anyone unpleasant.

I had an issue with an business that took out over $400 dollars from my checking account. I contacted creditunion1. Debbi McDonald contacted me right away, she was on the phone with me talking to the business. Don't mess with Debbi! I'm so grateful to be with creditunion1! it was very comforting to know Debbi had my back. I've been with credunion1 for many years and I will continue to bank with them. Go

Terrible service. Called, system says there are 90 callers ahead of me. What? Unacceptable. Merge on a holiday weekend? Seriously? Epic fail. Finally reached a representative, tells me my account doesn't exist. I am looking at it on line! Then she disconnects the call. Call the branch location, 95 callers ahead of me. Fail. Went into the branch 2 weeks ago, no one could tell me anything there. "Wait until January, go one line, everything is there." No, everything is not there. This merger reminds me of the TruistSucks Bank merger fail.

I can’t recall the last time I had a relationship with a company that is so awesome! I have been working with my Credit Union 1 Sr. loan officer Rhea Lynch for a few years and it does not matter what I need she has went over and beyond to make sure my deals are fair and priced correctly! She’s so knowledgeable and patient with any and all my concerns. Rhea, is the type of representative for Credit Union 1 that will always give her customers 500% of her professional services! After being a loyal member for more than 10 years I can't believe how poorly I've been helped during this credit card transition. No one seems to be able to help me on the app. If I call the number they give me they say they are not CU1 and to call CU1. Then they tell me they are not the card people so who the heck do I talk to to pay my balance and figure out if I even have a card. Very frustrating with their customer service and lack of communication. Highly regret having recommended them to friends and family.

This very nice young lady contacted me regarding an issue I believed was already handled. She took care of it and I was absolutely amazed with her professionalism and demeanor. She made me very relaxed and happy I'm a cu1 customer.
