Spring Valley City Bank, Spring Valley, IL

This bank deserves no stars. They are rude at best. They allowed someone to steal and write a bad check off my mother's account and refused to prosecute. They allowed another customer to verbally abuse me at a drive up window because the teller working was was inconsiderate, incompetent and painfully slow in completing my transactions. The teller made no attempt whatsoever to stop this abuse. When I complained to the bank president, he made nothing but excuses for this teller's bad behavior. Put your money elsewhere. This place deserves to go out of business.

I had just talked to a lady over the phone about my card because it wouldnt work when i was trying to put in my details and she had such an attitude for no reason. she was very rude and I work in customer service and I would never talk to a customer like that. I would try to come up with a resolution and her her. I was just confused and didnt know what to do and she hung up.

They are very rude. Access your account without permission. They make Giant mistakes then tell you to find them and if you can prove it they will fix it.

I would have given a 5 on review last month. They have changed from a locally owned bank to a corporate owned bank. Not for the local people anymore, but for big business.
