Very Disappointed in the way I was treated. I was closing an account for my deceased father and had to make at least 6 trips into the office and several phone calls with the Camanche Office (they had to call there for EVERYTHING) and get my lawyer involved before I finally got a resolution.
They kept asking me for the same documents I had already provided to them. Apparently they had shredded them the first time I took them in!
It literally took me months to resolve this issue. It was awful and I would never recommend this credit union to anyone. I have had to deal with several other banks in town and had no problems conducting business at any of them.
On another note, if you go in the lobby for transactions, they will walk away from you while they are waiting on you, to go wait on people in the drive thru. The loan person in an office was also VERY loud on the phone with someone. I could hear everything she said. No privacy for your information that way!

I debated long before I posted this and it’s my first review. I was recently assigned guardian of my elderly brothers care and provided the Sterling office a certified court document. It took all day waiting on Comanche to approve closing $675.38. The attitude projected was cold and it felt as if I were scheming to steal this large sum of money and never a comment of condolences.

Main branch is in Camanche, IA they do not care about the employees turn over rate is the worst I've ever seen and I've personally seen them do alot of screw ups in the Main Branch. People stealing was nothing out of the ordinary let's just say that, especially from customers(Sorry I meant "Members").
