First National Bank in Taylorville, Taylorville, IL

This bank, namely D E B R A H Mc L augh lin, discriminates against children wanting to have accounts. They then lower the entire family's daily limits just as retribution for a complaint being made. D made several odd comments about whether the parent is "sure they want to do this" and "I don't think this is a good idea". I'm not sure if the woman is having some type of mental crisis or not but my children have had savings accounts since they were tiny and checking accounts since they started working at 12 years old. First Mid Illinois Bank and Trust does not invade the parenting of it's members and have the nicest staff.

I have never had a problem. Its a great bank, again I have never had a problem. My mom has no bad stories either. No-one I know that uses this bank can give a bad story or opinion on it.

This has been my families bank now for over 18 years & counting. They have been the best bank I have ever used. The staff are very professional & friendly.

Real banks post your direct deposits immediately, not at 8 in the morning on friday.

Why are you closed on a Monday before 10:30 am?
