First Federal Savings Bank, Angola, IN

First Federal is a real asset to Angola Indiana and all of Steuben County. They are a local bank and provide competitive banking products. My family has utilized this bank for many years, and I will continue to do so, I certainly recommend them.

First Federal is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a great small town community bank. Their customer service and willingness to go the extra mile for their clients is why I have been taking my business there for almost 20 years!

I have banked with First Federal for over thirty years. They have always treated me with care and respect. They are very nice to work with.

Great place to bank. Staff is professional and friendly. Very involved in the community.

We currently have a mortgage with them and have been trying to get an equity loan. Their "guidelines" and parameters for qualifying are not attainable to the average person who has had to deal with credit issues. 4 years ago we had serious health issues that plunged our family into quite a lot of debt. We settled on all that debt and are current with those payments. We did not declare bankruptcy, we dug our way out and are owning our debt. Do they care? No. Our credit scores are decent, our debt to income is within limits, our house has 150K + equity and we have 100% perfect payment history on our current loan. Does that matter? No. We were late a couple times on a car payment, that is what stood out?? Again the parameters are ridiculous and they don't really want to help you consolidate debt even though that would have been a clear way to help us. I love how you can own your home, have plenty of equity, but some yahoo decides that you can't access that.

Do not recommend, the manager can't even do the job right, with the way banking is going I wouldn't trust this bank with my money
