Fifth Third Bank & ATM, Batesville, IN

I really enjoy the staff at the Bate sville branch of 5th/3rd but I have some concerns about upper management in their loan department. The staff that I have dealt with directly either face to face or by phone are always friendly. Their supervisors however are quick to blame their subordinates for their own mistakes and are secretive with information. They are also quick to use the excuse of Federal mandates yet other banks in the area are very upfront. My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a home and 5th/3rd had a very competitive loan rate...however it ends there. I am considering moving all of our assets to another bank.

Always a pleasant experience. Friendly staff take care to get your transactions completed right the first time.

This location is the reason why i closed my saving and checking account with 5/3. the lady was really unfriendly and didn't seem to believe i was the owner of my accounts despite me answering all their questions and showing multiple forms of identifications. Its like i'm a huge bother trying to deposit checks or withdraw money. This happened multiple times and i got fed up and closed the accounts.

We have accounts at two banks and wanted to consolidate to one. We chose 5/3 and went in to discuss some options. We stood in the waiting area for 15 minutes and we’re never acknowledged. Decision made. TD bank gets all our business.
