I do appreciate the fact that this finance company will get you in a vehicle. The APR is high but that is the price you pay for not taking care of your credit health, however that does not mean that they should have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES. They do not comprehend English. They do not update communication. They will not let you speak to a supervisor. Heck they barely speak English. For the interest you pay on your car loan you would expect at least better customer service. Please people take care of your credit health. After many years of dealing with them they should give their customers better customer service. Shame on you!!

I do not recommend this company at all,. 1st of all, this does not help your credit at all,
2nd, the cost of the loan goes to paying off the loan first and very little towards the car.
3rd, I traded the car in and the dealership I bought my new car from and the dealership sent them the buy off on the car and they still took money out of my account.
You're better off going to a reputable dealership who will honestly work with you then financing thru this company.
This company deserves 0 stars

Do not get a car with this company if you can help it. God forbid your whole family catches covid they'll repo the car after you get behind on couple payments.
Not to mention they called me at the very minute my payment wasn't taken out of my account. The payment wasn't late until midnight.
They'll harass you everyday if you are one day late. The policy states no late fee until after 10 days late yet they're calling the moment the transfer didn't get accepted.
So I told them take there junk car back.
Also byrider is cnac and there salespeople in Cleveland Ohio acted unprofessionally and told me to stop crying.

This company is representing themselves as three different companies CNAC who supposedly is a bank according to their representatives Maya and ebony they also are a car dealership represented as byrider and then they have their service department which has no name. Be very cautious dealing with this company I purchased a car from them 3 months ago which is totally broken down they're only willing to repo the car not fix the car cuz they're saying that it's not covered under warranty even though I've only had the car for 3 months. Do your research on the complete companies listed before dealing with them. Look at the reviews and you will see that the five-star reviews are paid for they're not legitimate customers.

This is the 3rd consecutive issue I've had. I keep getting promises that somebody will contact me in 5-10 days (I still haven t heard anything from anybody from my previous issues).
Everything was good until my wife changed jobs. Her pay day changed, so she made arrangements to try to change the dates on her car payment. The following 2 payment dates were fine. A week after the 2nd payment, she got texts saying she was late. The finance officer at J D Byrider was no help and argued with me. I made my first complaint and was promised somebody would respond in 5-10 days. I was transferred back to JD Byrider to the same finance officer I had issues with to start with. Why couldn't THEY- CNAC do it? I told her I made a complaint and suddenly she saw the problem. The finance payment date changed, but not the insurance date (they require insurance through them even if you already have insurance). We only owed the insurance, but were threatened with repossession if we didn't pay the full amount (the finance was due the following week). I paid the full amount any way, so I was a week ahead of the actual car payment. If the finance officer had taken 2 minutes to look the first couple of times, it would have saved a ton of time, confusion and frustration.
2 weeks later, we had the same issue and received more threats. I still hadn't heard back from my 1st complaint. I called back to CNAC and I made a second complaint. Again, promises to hear from somebody in 5-10 days. I pointed out I still hadn't heard from the first incident. I was told they would 'red flag' (I believe that was the term) my complaint. I had to call back to CNAC for payments, only to be transferred back to JD Byrider to make the payment- again, CNAC wouldn't take my payment directly. I made a second FULL payment.
Here we are again. Last week, after the threatening text from the finance officer, my wife replied and told her to double check her records. We heard nothing back. We got another text this morning saying we owed 2 insurance payments on top of the finance payment. According to our records, I shouldnt be paying that much without being ahead. I tried waiting (an extended period of time) to file another complaint. I finally heard somebody on the other end say 'hello' and was disconnected. I ended up getting a headache and took a break. Mail came, and we got a threatening letter directly from CNAC, threatening to repossess the car over a $51 INSURANCE payment. That was paid 2 weeks ago from the previous payment.
We are sick and tired of this mess. Im not sure if the issue is with CNAC or JD Byrider, but neither have been helpful. CNAC has yet to contact us about the problem and the JD Byrider acts too busy to be of any help until threatened. My wife is ready to drive the car back to the dealership and leaving it. Be careful dealing with either company, as looking at other reviews, these are common issues.
I see in the Byrider page that they say they want to to hear more details in comments and to contact them, but they obviously are already aware of the problems and it seems to be a generic response to each complaint. CNAC just makes promises over the phone to pacify the person long enough to get a payment and get them off the phone. It seems to be a game to them.

They are a horrible compnay and need to be shut down like yesterday. I get people need transportation but trust me people save your money and just buy a cheap used car and fix it up. It can & will save you thousands in the long run.1. BYRIDER or JD BYRIDER ARE VERY SHADY 2. They are bearly staying in business as two of their locations have shut down in Indiana & 3. But I could really go on. The warrenty that you get .Its a true joke the main things arent covered .Then you take it in to get one thing fixed and the next week something else is wrong.

Byrider Sold me a Vehicle with a Bad Alternator and it went out in less then a year after I got it and of Course there Scam for A Extended Warranty wouldn't cover repairs it end up costing me $581 for Repairs out of my own pocket CNAC And Byrider are a Scam I am going to refinance with another Company because CNAC lets Byrider Scam people who can't get a loan anywhere else they are Loan Sharks.

I have never had someone ask me multiple times if I have family to borrow off of when they have been told that they have all passed. Another thing I never been told to do is go and pawn all of my things so I pay my debt. When in fact I spoke to an employee and thought I had arrangements because I had just started a new job. I thought wrong. The person that contacted me the next day was rude and wouldn't listen to a thing I said.
