The Fountain Trust Company, Covington, IN

We worked with the loan office on a refinance. I had hesitation, because 10 years ago we worked with the same individual, and were not happy with his service but decided to try again. It was the same situation this time. The individual did not reach out to give us updates, and I was constantly trying to contact him to get a status of the appraisal, and the closing. We love Fountaon Trust for our basic banking needs, but would not recommend their loan office.

First I called TFTC to see if I could get documents notarized they said absolutely. Drove from Terre Haute only to be rudely told they only notarize "Financial" documents. Outdated bank with outdated practices.

Banked here for 7 years and counting. Staff is personable, knows you by name, friendly and willing to help and resolve any hiccups or problems that may arise. Really I'd gave 4.5 star because of limited amount of ATM to use when traveling.

Very happy that my wife and I no longer use this bank! Would not recommend them to anyone! Especially would not use engage or purchase real estate from them as there actions are very inconsiderate and rude. Also either themselves or there real estate agent one makes false statements!
