Thomas Merrill, a loan officer, has the heart of a teacher. He assessed my loan situation (new home loan with endless delays) and offered me the best options in simple terms yet very detailed. He is very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and HONEST. He also stood up for me as I dealt with a bully builder and their lender. His loan options helped me save thousands in locking fees and at least $500 less in monthly mortgage payments. His underwriter team is professional, topped notch,and ahead of schedule. My family and I thank the whole entire team of First Internet Bank for treating us with honesty, respect, and a GREAT loan. God bless!!!

I have used the the services of First Internet Bank a couple of times now over the years. I loved working with Richard Anderson he kept me informed while guiding me through the mortgage process, but most importantly the recommendations he suggested were in my best interest not his. I would recommend that anyone who is thinking about any type of mortgage do yourself a favor and contact Richard Anderson at First Internet Bank.

The lending experience with this bank was fine when I purchased my home in January of this year (2022). My loan officer was timely and helpful with email responses. In that regard I have no complaints. However, I have been receiving intimidating-looking mail (3 letters so far) from First Internet Bank in envelopes stamped with the words “FINAL NOTICE” and with red inserts. Enclosed in the envelope is an advertisement for a home warranty. This mail is an attempt by First Internet Bank to scare their own customers into opening an ad under the pretense of it being a debt collection notice. As an individual who is concerned about cultivating and maintaining excellent credit, I do not appreciate such heavy-handed business tactics. For these reasons, I do not recommend First Internet Bank as a lender.

Have been repeatedly impressed by the quality, responsiveness, and courteous service from the phone support (direct banker contact), to that received when visiting their office to obtain a cashiers check. They always answer the phone, and are available by email and in person. Their interest bearing savings money market has great rates compared to my old mainstay brick and mortar multi site branch company that gave a fraction of a percentage interest for years. Plus you can’t miss their building wuth the old fashioned huge letters sign on the roof! So glad I found DIB!

I started opening accounts at this bank after I first heard about it from CNBC channel in 1997. It has long customer service hours. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Their website is very easy to use. Their rates are excellent. It has been a wonderful experience for me to do business with this bank. I highly recommend it.

We have been customers for a long time and love this bank. Great rates and awesome customer service. Working with them is great. When we were buying a car and need a large wire transfer they made it easy. We even moved to other state and have had no iseue. When we started bank with First Internet we lived in Fishers, In and have moved to Holland, MI. Have a great experience with them.
