First Financial Bank & ATM, Harrison Township, IN

I've been going to this same bank since I was a child, back when it was Merchants. The staff are always friendly and helpful. When someone stole my debit card and drained my account, they walked me through how to file a police report and how to file with their fraud department. Got all of my money back within two days! They are always super helpful when I travel, too. Love these guys!

They do not have a public notary (they have a private one which I didn’t know was a thing). They failed to mention that over the phone so when I showed up to have something notarized they stated I had to have an account there.

I was at this bank for many years when it wad still mainsource recently went to fifth third because the customer service there are very unprofessional. The tellers are the rudest, most unhelpful people you will ever meet. I go in to deposit or withdrawal money and it was like instead of greeting you with a smile they look at you like they do not have one care in the world. They look at you with the biggest, most unwelcoming smerks on their faces. I even caught the manager in her office playing on her phone instead of coming out to asist me when I decided to close my account. that place was the biggest mistake for the last few years of my life. and I wish everybody the best of luck at what ever clients they have not scared away yet. Mainsource aka First financial bank is the worst and giving it a 1 star rating is too much. Do not go here, go to fifth third. You will be glad you did.

Bring back the banks that actually did things for people. Can’t do anything in this bank unless you give this bank money and have an account with them. Went to get a piece of paper notarized and can’t even get that done because I don’t have an account with them. Thanks for wasting my time first financial.
