Amazing staff very helpful , the process was a breeze. Whenever I need a loan I will only be using onemain.

I did everything on my part signing documents and everything to move my payment to a date that I would have the funds. Spoke with someone and signed all requested documents. The gentlemen did not finish his job on his end which led to the funds coming out of my account and my account bouncing. I reached out to them and was told that I have to wait for a check from corporate to refund me. Which means I will get overdraft fees while I wait for a check (Which will come I'm sure when my payment is due) along with overdraft fees for the items that items I approved payment prior to theirs (reason why I requested a date change). So now I am paying for their error!! Around the holidays, being a single mom struggling to put food on the table and roof over their head is hard enough but now having funds taken out prior to what was agreed upon leaves me no money till probably next week when I receive their check and then however long it takes my bank to clear their check. I did everything a borrower should to be responsible financially with repaying my loan and they didn't complete their part and now my family has to struggle. This is not acceptable and just shows the lack of their commitment to their customers. (However, Mark from the branch was very nice and tried to explain to corporate as well as agreeing this was not acceptable).

I have been a customer for less than a year however the experiences to date have been superb. Their in office treatment, on phone treatment and responses to my needs have been quick and very favorable. Amanda is an asset to your organization.

A lot of the reviews here are all about the fees one main charges. I've had a few loans through springleaf or onemain over the years. I've always been treated with respect and the fact of the matter is, if you pay off your loan early, you pay a fraction of the interest. My documented rate was generally 26-29 percent, but if you make it a priority and pay it off quickly you can spend much less. My actual rates were usually around the 10-13% range which is tolerable. So again, it's a subprime lender. It's expensive, but if you need money asap, they will get it to you.
