You must maintain a positive balance no matter the circumstances you're in. If you overdraft your account they see you as a liability to their business and will close your account to keep their reputation. They will assume that if you have direct deposit that your HR can make changes to your bank account with a snap of a finger. They say they tried calling you and leaving you messages when I only received 1 (one) call from them. I asked for call records and she shuddered for the answer and says it's in the policy they can close the account out. For those that live pay check to pay check I would recommend go to someone else to protect 'their' business.
