Owen County State Bank, Spencer, IN

Avoid this rude and shoddy financial institution! The women that work here are beyond rude and discourteous, but that's to be expected when you get these women in there with these attitudes of superiority. This "bank" will do nothing to assist you in any way, shape or form, so be prepared to be called a liar if they disagree with you. They are very shady and shifty to their customers and completely contradict all that is commonplace with other financial institutions. You need to be sure you get everything down in writing and do NOT trust them! I truly pity anyone who finds this place and their staff acceptable for anything, let alone handling your financial needs, but if you like being talked to like a common criminal or a dog this place is for you. These one-horse town banks are pathetic to say the least...

I would recommend this Bank to anyone two times now on separate accounts they have called to double check on transactions made and this time there was a transaction made that was not from me it was in Gary Indiana and I am here in Spencer but they caught it with the first transaction and on my card is canceled. I highly recommend them they keep an eye out

Two days in a row i tried to make an envelope deposit and NO envelopes. Not very convenient

Great place to do your banking. Staff is very friendly and will help you in all your financial needs

They do what they need to do to make money. When it comes to doing what's right when something is wrong you won't get helped even to the top person in that bank
