This bank will charge u for everything! i dont recommend. closed my account out yesterday and they charged my $10 to close it and they didnt even tell me. glad to be done with them. the only person there that actually cares about doing their job is miriam!

This bank is awesome. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The one time I had an issue with my account they had me fixed up, taken care of, and out the door faster and easier than any other bank I've been too.
And of course they charge you a daily fee for being overdrawn... It's a bank, not a free money building. Don't spend money you don't have, and don't leave bad reviews for personal problems. :D

We would NOT recommend this bank for mortgage or loans. The only reason we used this bank was because of Amy, which she has since went to a new location. We will be pulling all our business from this bank very soon. The current staff at this bank have continually made mistakes regarding our loan payments. We recently built our house and were working on the mortgage through this bank, and have been forced to extend the closing date several times for multiple reasons. The mortgage officer is one of the most unorganized people we have ever met. We were constantly left in the dark on information regarding the progress of our loan process, and was hardly given any information we needed to finish. The lenders checked our credit, which was very high, and still made us put collateral down for our builders loan, then did not process a payment we sent in. Poor communication, we were treated like new customers every time we entered the bank, by almost all of the staff, even after visiting the bank several times a week.

EDIT*****I wanted to give an update and give a better rating. They were very kind when we were trying to get things on my account figured out. They got back with me quickly and listened to my complaint. The person I dealt with was extremely nice and thorough. And the issue was solved quickly.****

I've spent the past year working with First Bank of Kansas regarding a family matter. I have to say, they have been, by far, the best banking relationship I've ever had. Lucas Bishop, in particular, has been the absolute BEST banking agent I've ever worked with. No matter the obstacle or the challenge, he was able to help find solutions and work toward a positive outcome. Above all of this, he continually demonstrated true care and compassion. I felt like family, not just a customer. If I lived closer, I would transfer every single banking account I have to First Bank Kansas and Lucas Bishop. They truly are a remarkable place to bank!
