Our attempt to build a barndominium in Ohio was looking bleak until I connected with Tyler at New Century. He assured me that they work with out of state customers daily and that we could get the project completed through them. I'm so glad I found them as they walked me through every aspect which allowed us to occupy in November 2021. Although the project took one year to complete I felt I had Tyler and his team's support throughout the process. Anytime I had questions they would connect me to the person who could give me an answer and ease my anxiety. I really appreciate working with such a professional group as it made that year of my life much easier. If I would ever build a unique building again I would reach out to them for sure. They seemed like a good bank for mortgage financing until I compared their fees with another company. New Century was about $1300 higher. I asked New Century to match their fees, but they didn't want to. Be careful, these GREEDY folks will screw you over.

Can not say enough about how much I recommend this bank. Always a pleasure to go there. The customer service is one of the best. Everyone I have worked with has always been great, but I do have to say that Mariah is one of the best to work with. She goes above and beyond to be helpful, friendly and responsible. She even follows up after to make sure all my issues are resolved. I really appreciate having someone who truly cares about the customers. I have always left here with a positive experience.

We have worked with New Century Bank for years now and they have always been straight with us. No fluff or false promises. We have had an array of clients submit applications for New Home Construction loans, and from excellent to not so excellent credit the process has always been professionally handled. They have even helped multiple customers with not so good credit achieve their dream in building a new home through a credit rehabilitation program. When you call them and ask for suggestions they will tell you what it will take to get that loan you want. When you want an update with your loan process they will get you the update, even if it requires them to give you a call back (which they do). We continue business with New Century Bank because they are a dependable and knowledgeable bank, who's Christian practices influence a trust filled relationship between client and bank. I find that those who are quick to judge, are the ones whom are untrustworthy to begin with. When we were looking for a lender to finance building our home, as soon as I walked into the office in Manhattan and met Alan I knew they were caring individuals. We landed at New Century Bank after following a good friend's advice. We purchased a few acres and wanted to build a home - it was during the pandemic and lenders for new (second) home construction were not the easiest to find. The team and New Century were absolutely amazing. They helped make an arduous process as easy as possible, and we are incredibly grateful to them for that.
