Peoples Bank and Trust, Newton, KS

I first stopped in to Peoples bank to have some papers notarized although I didn't have an account there. Initially it was not my intentions to open an account, but one of the several times that I stopped through, Josie told me about their checking and savings accounts, and all the perks that came along with banking through them, such as the gift for you for opening a bank account, as well as one for the person who referred you, plus the reimbursement of ATM fees up to a certain amount, which was awesome for me, because I am guilty of paying an unmentionable amount of money to ATM fees, but they also print your debit card off and you walk out with it right after opening your account. As well as many other little perks of banking with them. It wasn't long after that coincidentally that I began having issues with my bank, (BMO, formerly known as Bank of the West) and I decided I was going to go ahead and change banks. So, I stopped in and told Josie I was ready to switch and she made the entire process quick and painless! Not only did she assist me in deciding which checking and savings account was best for me, but she conversated with me as if we had been friends long before opening the account. A couple days after having opened my account I received a hand written card from Josie thanking me for opening an account, and my very next appearance at the bank I was greeted on a first name basis right when I walked through the door! My entire experience was very personable and professional! I would highly recommend Peoples bank to anyone! Even if they didn't offer free gifts 😂 Stop by and tell Josie you need an account!!

They treated my sister kindly when opening her account. Even took the time to know me by my nickname when I come in or go through drive thru. They have been amazing.
