Drove 40 miles to open a new account. The one person at the "new accounts" desk was busy so I took a seat and waited......30 minutes. Employees were walking all around me and they all ignored me. When the "new accounts" clerk was free and I went to her desk she told me she couldn't help me. She had a man coming in. So the message I got while waiting in the lobby was we are not a friendly bank. Walk-ins are not welcome. They don't want new customers. No wonder everyone is going to online banking if they get the "Legacy" experience.

My mom, Susan Stecklein, worked here until her untimely death in August 2018. I can't tell you how many times she called her kids crying over her bosses always calling her into the office over something. It was as if they were trying to get her to quit. I guarantee, she was the kindest person to work there. Ever. Then when I went in the week after she died to discuss her life insurance, I was told to make sure I got a message from Kelly Mason and that was to make sure we knew mom had taken out a 1,000 loan a few weeks before she died and to know it needed paid back. They even continued to send late notices in her name to her house, despite knowing she had died. The debt has since been paid, but very tacky and unprofessional on their part and claiming to be her friend. I couldn't wait for the day that she could retire and get out of that bank. I'll never have anything good to say about them and now Legacy Bank.

Jack Galle was great to work with on our business loan, and was able to offer us interest rates on our loan a full 1.5% lower than the other banks we got quotes from. Their online banking is secure and easy to use (we've had issues in the past with other banks being unable to access our own information due to security features that were cumbersome). Overall great experience!

From out of state and very unhelpful. Go across the street to The People's Bank, they are very helpful.

They charge to have a debit card, and they act like they are pissed at u to withdraw your money.
