OneMain Financial, Wichita, KS

The experience at the One Main office was great. My experience with depositing funds was not so great. 1st the electronic deposit failed. 2nd when I got a check cut, Bank of America put a 12 day hold on it because of some message printed on the check that indicated the check could be returned. This was the most unpleasant part of the experience. I was able to get the funds released on assurances that if the check WAS returned that I would be personally liable. Again, not a pleasant experience.

I applied for a loan at OneMain Financial. I was told that I was approved. I was given the interest rate payment amount excetera. I was told to call the office at a particular number which I did. I called the office they started sending me jumping through hoops. That all started on September 28th of 2022. I get an email from them today October 26th 2020 to say my loan was disapproved. Reason I did not continue with the loan is because every time I tried to do something it was not good enough for them so I went through someone else who approve me the same day and gave me the money the next. If you use One Main Financial be prepared to jump through hoops like a circus animal.

They gave me the run-around one said you're approved but for the full amount you need for the vehicle I was trying to purchase. So they suggested finding a less expensive car so I did .. Then they say my loan wasn't approved all though a day ago was approved..I wish I could have known that before I waisted my time and the dealership time finding me a deal on a car..Oh yeah after 4 other people there helped the woman that was doing my loan I did get the loan ..yay...good luck and don't give up you may have a chance on a loan through too..

I've been doing business with OneMain for almost 10 years now. Every year they call and see if I need more money for something. This year, I told them I did. They ran my credit and said I was approved for the amount that I requested and gave me all the relevant information (interest rate, payment, etc). They requested a copy of my driver's license, pay stub and banking information. I emailed it over and less than an hour later, I get a call back telling me that they can't help me. AFTER they said I was approved. I will not be doing any more business with OneMain Financial.

The people at the branch I visited were very nice. However, due to interest rates and a harder to use than usual website, I will never do business with them again. An extra payment was taken out of my account by accident and was told I would have to wait 10 days for a refund. Damage already done plus bank fees for overdraft. Really would this company want those types of extra charges. Don't think so. My own fault for not doing more research. USE ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY

I was hesitant at first, but I’m glad I came here! They’re very kind and clear about everything. I was able to get what I needed without hassle. I then was approved for more a few months after and was able to lower my monthly expenses greatly thanks to them! I definitely recommend them.

Really quick to take out payments but as soon as you trade in the vehicle on the loan & they take a payment out when they’re not supposed to it takes a whole month to refund the money. As if most Americans aren’t paycheck to paycheck that can wait that long for $350. Our family has been scrounging for food while they hold our money.

Great place to get a loan. My 2nd one with them and the process is so simple and quick.
