I would like to thank Abound Credit Union for always being there. It means a lot to have a bank that will take a chance on you. They did when I was younger—and have been good to me since.

Abound in Leitchfield has the best staff!! They are always so helpful and friendly!! They service all of my banking needs!! I’ve been a happy member for the past 7 years!! Oh, and I love the new purple color!!

Abound credit union Leitchfield location, has the friendliest staff and loan officers. We have been banking with them for years. Heidi and the rest of the crew go above and beyond to make sure we receive excellent service.

Abound is now run by criminals.
This banking institution, which falsely claims to be a credit union to help repair your credit, will ruin your credit instead. I banked here for 10 years until Deborah, in “Business Resolutions” closed my account for a $2 overcharge to Doctors Without Borders, a charity helping keep people safe during Covid.
US Bank is a much better choice.
These criminals have no moral compass, and how dare they call themselves a Christian!?

Terrible customer service. I called to have my account unlocked after my password was entered wrong. I wait 30 minutes on the phone only to be connected to someone who didn’t care and treated me as a nuisance. Then she transfers me to her supervisor and I recieved the same treatment from someone with the same attitude. It feels like they hate their job. Anyways. I finally convince them I am who I say I am and they say I need to reset my password in which they sent me a code. The code was invalid. I entered it exactly as it appeared including caps. And after 3 failed attempts it locks me out again.i call again and after 20 minutes I decide it’s not worth it and go to sleep. Customer service is just not what it used to be. I will be withdrawing my funds and closing my accounts. ****EDIT**** I sent them an email yesterday since my work hours do not align well with their hours,:however, they have not responded and I feel they never will. The only time they care is if you leave a negative review. This is false concern for my satisfaction because if they truly cared for their customers they would reply to ALL emails, not just those who complain.

I'm giving 3 stars, because while I appreciate Abound's security features, I am rather upset that I cannot pay my property tax online without an approval from Abound. I paid my property tax online last year with no issue. I made a deposit today with cash at a physical Abound location for this purpose. Also, I have an amount I've been saving since last tax season PLUS my payroll went through today so it's not a balance issue.
The app was also terrible, so I use the internet browser. When I had the app, it had TWO copies of the Abound app on my phone so I won't use it.
Also I cannot pay my husband's AT&T using my account- for whatever reason I have to use my Capital One card and then I just immediately pay the bill when it posts to my Capital One.
Other items I have no problem. (Electric, water, Amazon, my car insurance, whatever. ) Abound has stated in the past if you've never made a transaction at the merchant sometimes they decline it. How then did I pay my property tax last year with no issue then? I also paid Jason's phone bills for years through my account with no issue, and 3 months ago it stopped working.
Just make sure you have a back up payment account when Abound decides to decline the transaction, or change their rules. Not the first time- it's happened several times in the 10 years I've been an Abound customer.
At least though, if I can't spend my own money, no one else can either. 🤣🤣🤣
I still gave 3 stars even though the payment systems are unreliable, they usually do resolve the issues they cause and are polite about it. Also, I do appreciate the free PAC tickets every year.
I'd just appreciate being able to pay my property tax online. If that's not possible, the teller should have told me Grayson County Sheriff/property tax was not an approved transaction. Seeing as its Nov 15th, and property tax bills are sent Nov 1st, they should be able to give customers a heads up on this. Had I known this, I could have driven to the sheriff's office and written a check.
I will be calling tomorrow and expect a reasonable explanation and an approval for my transaction.

Heidi at Abound was such a blessing to our family. My mom and dad had some banking business that they needed help with and when I came in with them she had a huge smile on her face. Answered all of their questions and made us all feel good about the decisions they were making and she took the extra time to just listen to what they needed to talk about was refreshing. We are so grateful for her.
