The application process was painless and they kept me informed through each step. The approval process was quick. In the office I was treated with the utmost respect. Every employee was very nice and kind. They were very attentive to my needs.

We needed some upgrades done to our home and Mariner approved us quickly to get the money we needed. The staff were courteous and friendly, I won’t hesitate to use Mariner again .

They literally harass you every month for payment no matter how well you keep your account. The morning of the due date the phone starts. I began ignoring them because we pay our bill on time, and even if it’s one or two days late- they’re getting the late fee so that should make them happy, right. When I called about a question, Nancy told me she’d call me back. Then added very passive aggressively, “if you decide to answer your phone.” She didn’t call me back, but called my boyfriend I share the loan with and lied to him and said she did. I had no missed calls or voicemails. When I asked her about it she said that it went straight to voicemail. I asked why she didn’t leave a voicemail, (like she had every month for years to “remind” me about my payment,) she hurriedly got off the phone saying she was closing a loan and would call me back. Poor customer service. Moving my business.
