Hancock Bank & Trust Co, Madisonville, KY

Mt wife and I opened an account with this bank back when we first were married almost twenty years ago. The bank had changed names, but the service had not. They are very friendly, and often with you about every transaction. They are local people talking care off local people. Wonderful bank.

This bank cashed a forged check about a year old that they knew was forged. I canceled my account. Even other bank employees stated they never cash a check over 6 months old. I asked them to make it right and they refused and said evennthough they don't they can cash checks over 6 months old at their discretion. No comment on knowing the check was forged. Horrible experience!!!!!

They are always so pleasant and helpful. I always enjoy dealing with them. Anna the receptionist always has a smile on her face, you can even feel her smile through the phone. And the tellers are just as friendly.

THIS bank isn't open on sat, the bank on the south end of town is, but it doesn't show up on the map. In short, I hate this stupid little piss-ant town.

The phone does not work anymore. They have been bought out.
