They were up front and honest the entire process. Our first visit Gerry told us what was needed, and direction on how to accomplish this. After that was taken care of, we went back and started the process. He worked with us many times after hours, and went the extra mile to make the process streamline with my work hours. Constant communication on where we were in the process. If something was needed or I had a question always responded quickly. After a series of unfortunate events including a near death medical emergency that required extensive hospitalization and time out of work, I found myself in serious financial trouble. It took the better part of three years for my husband and I to claw our way out of a massive hole. When we felt like we were finally ready to purchase our first home, we started the process with another company only to be denied at underwriting— a huge set back. We immediately began the process again with several other brokers/lenders but never seemed to gain any momentum, often waiting days or up to a week for a response or return phone call. Extremely frustrated, we turned to Barrett at Global Mortgage Link who gave us his full attention and support right from the start. After going over our financial history with him and sharing our concerns that maybe we weren’t ready, he assured us that he would find a way to make it work. Just shy of two months later, we finally, FINALLY, were able to close on our first home! And I am so grateful for these people who helped us make our dream come true.
