Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Leesville, LA

I think the tellers are good n very helpful. I've been with this credit union for quite a few years but you'd never know it from trying to deal with the loan officers. My wife n I have direct deposit with them but if we need to borrow money we have to go to Navy Federal where each of us have about 10.00 in our accounts. I don't get it! They loan us money n even issue credit cards but Barksdale refused us. What's wrong with this picture!

This is the most awful bank Ive had to deal with. I can never get them on the phone. Ive been in their lobby when theyve had zero customers and they still dont answer. Ive been dealing with them for months trying to get the right paperwork needed for ss for my special needs son. The whole process is on hold because of this bank, and has been for a few months. Ive tried several times and they keep getting it wrong and telling me I have to pay more. This whole experience has made me start researching a new bank. Giving 1 star only because I have to. Very disappointing business.

This is a sister bank of my main credit union. Sure. They're customer service is average. I would have given it a 4star if I actually banked with them. The problem? The moment that you state that you're from a different bank and require to use their "sister banking service", all the pleasantries go out the window. They become disgruntled and noticeably irritated that you've wasted their time. Or at least every time I've been to this branch it's been that way. I really wish my main bank did business with someone else in the area.

I have been banking with batksdale for quite some time now. And I love this bank it's and it has the most amazing saving plans from Christmas CDs savi g plans. I am looking forward to backing with this back for many more years to come. I appreciate everything y'all do.
