Tower Loan, Shreveport, LA

I've never had an issue with Tower. They have financed my furniture twice and I've had two personal loans with them. I have used both Shreveport branches and haven't had an issues. The only reason for the four star rating is because everyone can make improvements in some areas. Overall, tower is my go to company.

I'd like to give 0 stars. This place uses misleading business tactics to try to get you to take a loan out. We paid our loan in full and asked them to stop calling us and 4 years later they are STILL calling saying we have a loan that "needs to be picked up" and implying that we need to take action immediately. We haven't had a loan with them in 4 years, we were never late, we paid it off in full early. They try to get you to take out a loan with a low teaser rate and jack up the rates when you don't pay it off early. Awful experience, awful company, they take advantage of low income families.

These people are rip-off artists. I went in, late on a payment, guy ended up refinancing the loan and my APR jumped by 20%. Now I owe DOUBLE what the loan was for. Then, they call 8 to 10 times a day, leave voice-mail, one lady even showed up and knocked on my door at home. They will also always quick to threaten to turn your loan over to an attorney to sue you. Do not get a loan from this place, it is not worth the headache or your time. 😒

These are some EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL people. How these people still have jobs is unbelievable. That lady Katy that's is a so called manager is so very rude. She so bold when she talking reckless to you over the phone. No qualifications needed, except no experience, no customer service skills, and common sense. I do NOT recommend getting a loan from them. I wish they had a half star,i would have given that!
