GFA Federal Credit Union, Ashburnham, MA

One of the worst credit unions l have ever encountered. Not elderly friendly. When my father passed they froze the account including my mothers ss check. So far it has been 2 months. They claim they needed a letter from ss however ss does not send out such letters and advised they had not frozen the account. SS recommended we switch credit unions. We did, if this isn't cleared up shortly we will be hiring an attorney. Use them at your own risk.

Opened an account in the Ashburnham branch. The two tellers, Taysia and Danielle They were very friendly, helpful and professional. Excellent bank.
