A couple of years ago, my husband and I decided to start aggressively paying down our mortgage. This coincided with rates being at an all time low. We consulted with Ray who considered our specific circumstances. Together we decided the best course of action was to refinance (taking advantage of the low rate), and move from a 30 year loan to a 15 year loan (further lowering the rate). With a little extra money down obtained from a small inheritance, we were also able to transition to a 15 year mortgage without a significant change in our monthly payment. All this combined with the monthly curtailment we were already applying, we could have our house paid off in just 7 years instead of 15. We relied on Ray's expertise to help us make the right decision for us and our family. And on top of that, the process was easy and seamless. Having bought and sold a few houses in my lifetime, I expected the usual headaches but was pleasantly surprised when I realized just how easy the process was this time around. Ray was just a phone call or text away whenever we had a question or needed clarification. I would highly recommend.
